European Journal of Development Research

The European Journal of Development Research (EJDR) is a multi-disciplinary journal that seeks to broaden our understanding of the processes that advance or impede human development, whether from a political, economic, sociological or anthropological perspective. It is published five times a year by Palgrave/McMillan. The EJDR is generously sponsored by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies Geneva.

2009 Highlights

In 2009 EJDR published more than 50 cutting-edge articles on a variety of topics in development research. These included articles from a special issue on China in Africa, guest edited by Olusanya Ajakaiye, African Economic Research Consortium, Nairobi, Kenya and Raphael Kaplinsky, Open University, Milton Keynes, UK.
