CIDOB Foundation

The Documentation Centre and Library, which have been open to the public since 1975, have the mission of supporting the education and research that take place in the CIDOB and IBEI Foundations. They provide specialised information and documentation, mainly, on international relations and development.



Chr. Michelsen Institute

The CMI library houses the largest specialized collections in Norway on development studies and is an oasis of valuable information open to the public. Focus: Development studies covering for instance economics, political science, anthropology, poverty, peace, conflict and development aid. Regional studies on Africa, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.

ELDIS

Our aim is to share the best in development policy, practice and research. Browse more than 22,000 summarised documents from over 4,500 development organisations - all available free to download. Share your work with over 80,000 development practitioners. Eldis OnDisc CD-ROM Programme: Aims to distribute a selection of full-text documents from the Eldis collection on CD-ROM.


European Centre for Development Policy Management

A specialist development library - the ECDPM’s library contains almost 4,500 titles relating to EU-ACP development with topics ranging from trade relations, governance issues, development policy and capacity building amongst others. The ECDPM is a reference library only, library loan is not possible.


Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies Geneva

The Library of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies gives access to 300 000 books, 1000 journal titles, 4500 DVD and videotapes and many e-resources. Domains covered are international relations and development in an interdisciplinary manner (law, history, political science, social sciences, economics, etc.)

Bureau of Libary and Information Services - International Labour Organisation

The ILO Library is the world's leading library on the world of work. It serves as a knowledge base of key information on work issues, sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development, technological change and human rights.

Capacity Building International

The Library and Documentation is Germany’s largest provider of information on development issues. Commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Library and Documentation acts as a mediator of knowledge and information for the benefit of public and private institutions and persons active in the field of German development cooperation. Furthermore, it helps to strengthen public approval of development policy objectives in Germany.


Institute of Social Studies

ISS Library and IT Services supports the teaching, research and project activities of the ISS. We provide access to 100,000 books, 450 print journals, 7000 e-journals, a well stocked reference section and connections to many remote databases. The library has a substantial collection of report material much of it "grey" literature. We focus on development matters in the social sciences.

Die OEFSE betreibt Oesterreichs umfangreichste wissenschaftliche Fachbibliothek und Informationsvermittlungsstelle zu allgemeinen Fragen der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und Entwicklungspolitik, zu aktuellen Entwicklungen in den Laendern des Suedens und im Besonderen zur oesterreichischen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit mit den Schwerpunkt- und Kooperationslaendern Oesterreichs.
